Welcome to HarvardAE Australia
The Australia Chapter of HarvardAE was established in January 2020, making it the only chapter to span an entire continent. All Harvard alumni in Australia are welcome to join as are their friends with an interest in entrepreneurship. In the early months, the Leadership Team was established and a series of workshops were launched to help create our vision and chapter areas of focus.
Since the Chapter’s Formal Launch webinar in July 2020, the Chapter has grown to over 150 members and friends. A variety of events have been held (see past events below), and more are planned. The Chapter has established the HarvardAE Pension Governance and Innovation Forum, which will work collaboratively with the Harvard Law School Pension and Infrastructure Centre, the Australian Superannuation Industry and the industry’s stakeholders. The Forums objectives include improving superfunds’ effectiveness and increasing industry knowledge and capabilities of adapting innovation and technological solutions.
HarvardAE Australia supports the podcast “Chat and Business”, which is focused on the sports business and features interviews with executives, athletes, and industry leaders talking about innovation, leadership and overcoming obstacles through the lens of the sports industry.
