PANEL DISCUSSIONS & HAE KNOWLEDGE SERIES

HAE India chapter organizes panel discussions and workshops to support entrepreneurship in the South Asia context.  Experienced entrepreneurs or service providers are invited to share insights with attendees. The structure and content of these varies - from the number of panelists to size of audience. The HAE knowledge series is an exclusive Harvard Alumni only event that has been immensely successful. In a small group setting, entrepreneurs come together to discuss challenges, share ideas, exchange advice and foster collaborations with seasoned entrepreneurs and business mavens.

NETWORKING EVENTS

Multiple networking events are organized throughout the year. These are some of the most well-attended events of the chapter. Popular venues have been Harvard clubs, hotel convention halls, and restaurants.

HAA GLOBAL NETWORKING NIGHT

HAE India participates in HAA’s GNN event in New Delhi along with other HAA SIGs and Clubs. This once-a-year event brings together Harvard alumni for networking over light refreshments. The event is held simultaneously across the globe.

COMMITTEES

The chapter committees are responsible for various activities of the chapter. Chapters have flexibility around the structure and membership of the committees. Committee members can be elected by members or nominated by the co-chairs. Committees include:

  • Finance Committee: Oversee the finances of the chapter, including chapter activity planning and reaching out to potential chapter supporters

  • Events Committee: Responsible for planning, execution of events, and collaborating with other organizations for joint events

  • Membership & Partnership Committee: Develop chapter memberships, manage member communication, and foster institutional partnerships.

  • Sponsorship Committee: Develop connections with relevant organizations for sponsorship of specific events or activities for HAE members.

The HAE India chapter is looking for volunteers to serve on these committees. Please email us if you'd like more information.
