Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs (HAE) is the home for Harvard’s builders.
We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a Special Interest Group of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA)—and the only Harvard-approved organization dedicated to supporting alumni on the entrepreneurial path. From events and virtual programs to mentoring, networking, and founder-first resources, HAE exists to help entrepreneurs move forward—at every stage.
We’re independent, financially self-sustaining, and not funded by Harvard University.
Who can become a member?

HAE membership is open to:
Harvard alumni and those with alumni-status (all schools)
Current students, faculty, and staff
Not Harvard-affiliated? You can still join the community as a Friend of HAE or an Affiliate Member.
are membership fees tax-deductible?
Yes. HAE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and membership fees are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
WHEN DOES MY MEMBERSHIP EXPIRE? HOW DO I RENEW?
Memberships run for one year from your join date (except for Lifetime Members).To renew or upgrade a membership contact us at info@harvardae.org.
How do I get access to MYHAE?
MyHAE is our member community hub—currently getting a full refresh and relaunching in February 2026.
IS HAE affiliated with Harvard Clubs, HBS Clubs?
No. HAE, Harvard Clubs, and HBS Clubs are separate organizations. Membership in one doesn’t automatically grant access to the others.
How can I become involved with activities of a chapter?

Where are HAE chapters?
HAE is headquartered in Boston, with 20 chapters worldwide hosting in-person events and founder-led programming across the globe.
Does HAE host events?
All the time. Local chapters host networking events, panels, and talks, while HAE Global runs virtual programs open to the wider community. Check the Events page for what’s coming up.
Are events free?
It depends. Many events are free or discounted for HAE members. Friends of HAE typically pay full price. Details are always listed on the event page.
