John supervised the creation of a Space Plane, a new type of space launch vehicle powered by a rocket motor and jet engine propulsion system that will revolutionize space access through easy, low-cost aircraft-like logistics.
With over 25 years of experience with rocket motor and high-speed "air-breathing" propulsion development, John joins us to present the significant advances in addressing the challenges of space access.

About John Bergmans
John Bergmans, CEO and Founder of ATRX, Inc., is leading the development of a new type of space launch vehicle, a Space Plane—enabled by a propulsion system combining rocket motor and jet engine technologies—that will improve space access through simple, low-cost aircraft-like logistics.
John has been involved with rocket motor and high-speed "air-breathing" propulsion development for over 25 years, with a specialization in the development of software and electronics used to test these propulsion systems. His clients include Virgin Orbit, Virgin Galactic and Air Launch, LLC.
In addition to his aerospace work, he has also been active in the commercialization of emerging software and instrumentation technologies. One highlight of these efforts is his award-winning LabSocket software tool.
John holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
