HAE - Bay Area: Crimson Conversations - Bootstrap If You Can

Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs(HAE) Bay Area chapter is launching a monthly event series - Crimson Conversations. Every event will be a great opportunity to meet and learn from your fellow alumni.

Our first event will focus on bootstrapping and panelists will share their experience bootstrapping their ventures. This will be the first in a series of events throughout the year targeting non-dilutive financing options.

Robert Tillman AB'78: Bob has founded multiple companies including Thunar Medical, Sierra Photonics, Sunshine medical instruments, Digital Globe and RRT Partners. Previously, Bob has served in CxO capacity at multiple technology companies. Bob started his career in M&A and venture capital. He has served on the boards of over 20 companies including space tech, consumer internet, medical device, real estate and image tech companies.

Ganesh Nair SM'06: Ganesh is the founder and CEO of Karma Nuts, an emerging brand in natural foods industry. Karma Nuts' Wrapped Cashews with a nutrient skin coating were included in 2020 Grammy awards gift bags. Previously, Ganesh was at Johnson & Johnson for 9 years with roles including strategic planning and business development. Ganesh has Master of Science from Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences & Technology, MBA from UCLA. Website: http://karmanuts.com

Eli Salomon JD’06: Eli is the co-founder and CEO of Voga Coffee. Voga manufactures Ground Control Cyclops, winner of the 2018 Specialty Coffee Association Best New Product Award (Commercial Equipment), considered the industry's highest honor for commercial coffee equipment.
