About the Panelists

Rafael Soto is the CEO of MODO, the technological startup formed by the Argentinean banks to transform the means of payment in Argentina. Before joining MODO, Rafael was Country Manager of Nubank for Argentina and CEO of Ualá, leading fintechs in Latin America. Until 2016, he held positions in finance and capital markets as CFO of TGLT, investment banking associate at Credit Suisse and analyst at BBVA Argentina and Telefónica de Argentina. Rafael holds an MBA from Harvard University and a degree in economics from the Universidad de San Andrés. He is married with three children and is the CEO of MODO, the technological startup formed by Argentine banks to transform the means of payment in Argentina. Eduardo Iglesias is thefounder & CEO of Colón Cía de Seguros in 2012 and then in 2017 launched eColón which is the first 100% digital insurance company in Argentina and one of few in Latin America. This company has won several innovation awards in the USA and Latin America. He is one of Insurtech's main referents in Latin America and he's wellknown speaker at major Fintech and Insurtech events in the USA and Latin America. In addition, he developed a Venture Capital Fund for Insurtech startups called Latin America Insurance Fund (Laif.co).
