Join us for dinner and a conversation with Harvard alum, Anar Jahangirli, CEO of MADO. about his journey through the world of restaurant and food service entrepreneurship, business innovation, and his remarkable path to success as a restaurateur in Toronto.

Agenda:

About Anar Jahangirli

Anar received his BA in International Relations and International Law from Baku State University and his MA in European Public Affairs from the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands. Upon completing his graduate studies, Anar joined the foreign service of Azerbaijan and was initially posted abroad at the Mission of Azerbaijan to the European Union in Brussels, Belgium.

After moving to Canada, Anar has worked in local government and academia in marketing and communications leadership roles. Recently, Anar has joined as a CEO/General Manager of an investment company that includes a chain of restaurants in its portfolio.

Before moving to Canada, Anar Jahangirli worked as a consultant for the World Bank Group and was assigned to lead a digital transformation project for the Government of Afghanistan in 2017.
