Benefits Program Coordinator

HAE is looking to create a member's benefits program offering free and reduce price services to our members.Will be responsible for outreach (calls) to prospective companies. Required for success: Interest in helping build a member services program. Willing to contact prospective companies. Familiarity with services/programs of interest to entrepreneurs preferred but not necessary.

Campus Outreach Manager new

HAE is looking for someone to help with outreach to the dozens of student groups, clubs and programs that focus on entrepreneurship. This person will be responsible for introducing HAE to these organizations and build an on-campus HAE consortium of student entrepreneurs. Required for success: Knowledge of Harvard student groups and organizations. A self-starter interested in helping build a bridge between student entrepreneurs (both college and graduate) and our alumni community.

Development Manager (2)

HAE is looking for 1-2 develoment managers to deepen engagement key members of our community to expand our fundraising efforts. Prospect, cultivate, solicit and steward individual donors. Assist in crafting a strategy for using events and public outreach and engagement of Board HAE leadership. Required for success: Passionate about HAE's mission. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage effectively with HAE leadership and key alumni.

Digital Project Manager: Basecamp

Basecamp is HAE's collaboration tool that we are using to: house organiztion-wide and chapter documents and files; track and faciliate projects and facililtiate team/project communication. We are looking for someone to oversee the organization, launch, integration and management of Basecamp. You will contribute to proper training and onboarding processes. You wil also contribute to the development of methodologies, standards and best practices to streamline processes and create efficiencies for HAE's project management capability and train team members when applicable. Required for success: Enthusiastic about project management with 1-2 year experience in project management. Experience with Basecamp preferred but not necessary.

Digital Project Manager: Slack

Slack is HAE's enterprise communications and collaboration tool that will be used all lead volunteers, committees and chapters. We are looking for a volunteer to oversee the organization and use of Slack and to set up Slack channels. As a manager you will help develop and execute communications plans that help HAE succeed. You will contribute to proper training and onboarding. Contribute to the development of methodologies, standards and best practices to streamline processes and create efficiencies for HAE's project management capability and train team members when applicable Required for success: Enthusiastic about digital project management with 1-2 year experience in project management. Expeience with Slack preferred but not necessary.

Drive podcast producer (2-3)

HAE is looking for 2-3 podcast producers for our new series Drive. You will act as an administrator and technical director for a group of podcasts working with HAE chapters and key leadership to develop and select podcast topics, manage the podcast, oversee the recording and editing of the episodes, and other behind-the-scenes interaction. You will also assist with social media marketing and management; provide consultation and assistance with research as needed. Episodes will feature notable Harvard alumni entrepreneurs. Required for success: Experience with podcast or radio. Able to work in a virtual environment with other teams

HAE Forum Moderators (2-5)

HAE is looking for 2-5 forum moderators for our new forum web feature. You will act as an administrator for 1 or more content areas, working with chapters and key HAE leadership to develop and select forum topics. Required for success: You're good at moderating forums and interacting with online members, or would like to take the lead creating and managing an online group and sharing your expertise and experience with other group members.

HAEConnects EiR & Mentor Recuitment Manager (mentoring) (2-3)

HAE is looking for 2-3 volunteers to identify and recruit entrepreneur Entrepreneurs in Residence (EiR) and mentors for our inaugural mentoring program. Our Experts are accomplished entrepreneurs who have founded, sold or IPO'd successful ventures, who are industry experts and engage with our community once to twice a month. Mentors are seasoned entrepreneurs who have a wide range of startup industry and functional expertise. Their role is to align themselves with alumni entrepreneurs and share their advice on strategic and operational issues facing the team. Required for success: You're good at interacting with C-Suite/Founders/VC/Faculty communities. A self-started who likes to take the lead in building and managing a new initiative. Passion for mentoring.

Membership Manager

HAE is looking for someone to develop and execute our membership recruitment and retention program. You will oversee outreach to alumni expressing interest in HAE (GNN, Welcome to Your City, etc.) as well as identify opportunities to collaborate with other Harvard entities as a way to expand membership. HAE has a two-tierd membership offering. The Membership Manager will contribute to the overall strategy to increase full membership subscriptions. Required for success: You see the value of One Harvard. Creative and intuitively recognizes opportunities for member outreach and collaboration with appropriate follow through. Ability to work independently, but also as part of multiple teams.

New Chapter Managers (1-3)

HAE is growing and we are looking for alumni who are interested in contributing to the growth of HAE. New Chapter Managers will be responsible for guiding interested alumni throug the new chapter development process and being a resource for their questions and concerns. Required for success: Knowledge of HAE and experience as an HAE volunteer.

Social Media Manager (2-3)

HAE is looking for 2-3 volunteers to develop and execute our social media assets including: Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, and (coming soon) Instagram. We are looking for someone who will work with our chapters to post content as well as augment these postings with HAE content (features on Harvardae.org, forum discussions, exclusive alumni opportunities, etc.) and promotion of key campaigns (10 days to $10, etc.) This person will play an integral role in setting the social media strategy and policies. Required for success: A social media maven by nature. Running social media campaign is a plus.

Sponsorship Manager (2)

HAE is looking for 1-2 Sponsorship managers to help secure and expand sponsorship support for our three key programs: HAEConnect (mentoring), Virtualdavos (webinars) and Drive (podcasts series) as well as other potential sponsor categories, programs and events. Will help craft presentations that creatively utilizes HAE's assets to meet the goals of the potential sponsor - including fulfillment strategies. Required for success: The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage positively with HAE leadership and key alumni.

Virtualdavos (webinar) Producer (2-3)

HAE is looking for 2-3 webinar producers for our webinar series Virtualdavos. You will acts as an administrator and technical director for a group of webinars including working with chapters and key HAE leadership to develop and select topics, manage the webinar, oversee the recording and other behind-the-scenes interaction. Assist with social media marketing and management. Provide support for presenters prior to event and consultation and assistance with research as needed. Episodes will feature notable Harvard alumni entrepreneurs with live Q&A. Required for success: Familiarization with webinar technologies (Webex, Zoom, etc). Great with technology and has excellent organizational and people skills. Able to work in a virtual environment with other teams.

HAE OfficeHours- session-based mentoring program exclusively for HAE members.

HAE is launching a session-based, online mentoring program exclusively for our members - HAE OfficeHours. Alumni from any of the 15 Harvard schools with existing businesses or future venture ideas are eligible. Ventures must be founded and led by Harvard alumni in the CXO capacity.

OfficeHours will offer an informal mentoring environment ideally suited to get information and guidance for a specific task or challenge. 

This will be a fee-based program that will give mentees access to HAE’s global network of successful and passionate Harvard entrepreneurs and business experts who have volunteered to share their knowledge and expertise.

Through HAE’s OfficeHours mentees can: 

  • Get advice and feedback from experienced mentors representing more than 10 industry sectors. 
  • Access specialized expertise from mentors with background in business planning and strategy, marketing, finance, sales, law, etc. 
  • Optimize time and effort spent seeking advice for various challenges in growing your business. 
  • Gain an advocate for the entrepreneurial journey.

This Fall, HAE is launching a new member benefit -- the Thought Leaders Webinar Series to give HAE members the chance to participate in conversations with Harvard alumni entrepreneurs and Harvard faculty and staff on a variety of timely and relevant topics.
