What is Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs ?

The Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs (HAE) is a Special Interest Group of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA). It is the only Harvard approved organization designated to support Harvard alumni in various stages of entrepreneurial pursuits. You are invited to explore our website to learn about our activities including events, presentations, networking and career opportunities, innovation-related news, and more.

How can I become a member?

Harvard alumni can become HAE members through the membership link. Non-alumni can sign up for guest membership, which provides entry to some HAE events and access to the HAE mailing list. Membership is free for Harvard alumni and affiliates. Harvard alumni should have their Harvard Alumni Association login (post.harvard.edu) to verify alumni status. Alternatively, they need to provide school and year of graduation. Verification may take a few days.

How can I become involved with activities of a chapter? 

Please see the chapters section of the website for details about various activities of the current chapters. If you are interested in setting up a chapter in your city, please contact us at email listed below. To set up a new chapter we need names and  ten founding members and atleast two co-chairs. Once we receive your interest, we will share the chapter operations manual and conflict of interest policy.

Where are HAE chapters?

HAE head office is in Boston, Massachusetts. Chapters host networking and other in-person events for Harvard alumni. We currently have chapters in Boston, New York and Chicago. We are in the process of setting up chapters in other cities across United States and internationally.

Does HAE host events?

HAE chapters host networking events, panel discussions, presentations, and more. Please see the Events page for more details.

Are events free?

It varies. Events are either free or discounted for HAE members and individuals who have signed up for Guest access. Others pay full price for events. Sometimes a Sponsor or an Event Supporter may bear cost of the event. Please refer to the Events page for more details.
